Art Hour: Gratitude

Join me from the comfort of your home as we embark on an artistic journey of thankfulness and creative expression.

Expressing gratitude has been shown to improve overall health, energy, and relationships, and offers a sense of presence, hope, and happiness. At this Art Hour event, you'll make a piece of artwork that expresses all that you are grateful for in a bright and colorful format.

No prior experience necessary.
This event takes place on Zoom.

Materials needed:
1. paper
2. a pen and pencil
3. crayons or markers (or whatever materials you prefer to work with)
Optional: You may want to have a cup or something of circular shape to trace. You can use a variety of sizes of circle shapes.

---------------------------

Making art is a form of self-care. Art Hour allows you to make something of your own while sharing virtual space with others. Art Hour is designed for those who say “I’m not creative”. This is a safe space to explore your creativity free from judgment and negative self-talk.

How it works: We’ll begin with a short meditation to get grounded and centered. I’ll then lead a creative project using materials you have around the house or are easy to find. Finally, we’ll conclude with an opportunity to share and reflect on the experience.
