Art Hour: Watercolors

Learn the art of watercolors in this fun virtual setting.

Have you ever wanted to play with watercolors, but felt unsure of how to start? If so, this Art Hour class is for you. During our time together I will introduce you to a variety of techniques-- wet on dry, wet on wet, texture, drips and more. I'm confident in saying you'll be more sure of yourself and your watercolor abilities at the end of the hour. Best part of all, you can use this new skill for holiday cards and gifts!

No prior experience necessary. Open to all skill levels.
This event takes place on Zoom.

Materials needed:
1. watercolor paper
2. watercolor paints
3. brushes
4. water + papertowels
5. black pen
optional: tissues, salt, qtips

---------------------------

Making art is a form of self-care. Art Hour allows you to make something of your own while sharing virtual space with others. Art Hour is designed for those who say “I’m not creative”. This is a safe space to explore your creativity free from judgment and negative self-talk.

How it works: We’ll begin with a short meditation to get grounded and centered. I’ll then lead a creative project using materials you have around the house or are easy to find. Finally, we’ll conclude with an opportunity to share and reflect on the experience.
