All about Art Hour

Remember when you were a kid and making art was a regular activity, like playing on the playground?

Whatever happened to having time to create? To play? To let go?

Art Hour is the answer. Born out of Covid, Art Hour allows you to make something of your own while sharing virtual space with others. Designed for all levels of talent— from those who say “I’m not creative” to professional artists; this is a safe space to explore your creativity free from judgment and negative self-talk.

Now you can get back to yourself and explore your creativity. Art Hour is an opportunity to connect with yourself through creative play in a safe space.

How it works: We’ll begin with a short meditation to get grounded and centered. I’ll then lead a creative project using materials you have around the house or are easy to find. Finally, we’ll conclude with an opportunity to share and reflect on the experience.

In order to make this a safe space for everyone, here are some guidelines to follow.
1. Do what feels best for you. You are welcome to keep your camera off if you prefer.
2. Everything is optional. There will be opportunities to share, this is not required.
3. There is no right or wrong way to show up. There is no right or wrong way to create.
4. Let this hour be a true gift to yourself. I invite you to put away your phone and other distractions.
5. Respect everyone.
